Pretty New Ribbons.. Oh, and... I'm back!!

Hi all! I'm so excited to be back and diving back into the digiworld.. I've missed everyone!! For those who don't know, I've spent the last year taking a graphic design course and I can't wait to incorporate my new skills and equipment (I have a laptop! yay!) into my design work. Expect to see new things coming!!

More Buttons and a Bundle!

Good morning digi friends! Happy Friday once again. Am I the only one that's stunned we're already almost 3 weeks into September? I mean really! Like slow down already! 

I will be starting some classes soon and expect to be busier, but I also have my baby in Kindergarten now *sniff* and have more time on my hands. I hope to channel some of that new time into my store, I have lots of ideas and I'm excited to get them going!

I'm Baa-aack!!

Well here it is Friday the 13th and a perfect day for me to rejoin the land of the living!! We are all moved in (well, truth be told, there are still quite a few boxes to unpack, but close enough), the kids are settled in their school (well, one is home sick.. already!), and I am so happy to be back designing on my computer again! The month in the camper was pretty fun, but a home is really nice too ;)

Anyway, this week I have a few button collections for you. I have Autumn buttons, Halloween buttons, rainbow buttons and even a freebie to celebrate my return!

Stylin' Friday

Hi all, I hope your summer's going well. Mine is, but way too fast! This is a busy month as we're moving and we have a bunch of other things planned too, but next month I'm going to get to sit back and enjoy! We're living in our travel trailer all month so I'll be unplugged and I bet I'm going to read a LOT of books! 

This week I have a couple of new styles for you. One is for filling in your templates and doodles. You can apply it to any color layer and it adds a paper texture and various degrees of lighter or darker outlines. Super handy and quick!

The second is a set of flair styles. These are clear so need to be used on a second layer above your design. They will add a shiny round surface and leave your design untouched so you can still play with it!

And of course, both are on sale all weekend long!!

Big Backyard - a PU project!

So it's been almost a year of designing only CU and over a year and a half since I designed a PU kit so I sweet talked the awesome designer I ct for, Ramona of Memory Clips, into doing a colab with me! It was sooo much fun and I wouldn't be surprised if this happens again as designing kits is so different from designing cu and so much more creative fun! 

We decided to go with a Big Backyard theme since it's just that time of year (I don't know about you, but my yard looks like the playroom these days!) and we came up with this delicious palette of natural, deep satisfying colors that will go with any outdoor photos!

I hope you love it as much as I do, in fact, I loved it so much we ended up with 70 elements and over 20 papers!  Plus we made a bundle that has even more goodies!

Doodle Day!! (and a freebie)

Good morning and FINALLY happy summer! Yes, I know last week was actual summer, but this week my kids are done school and it finally feels like summer!! I love not having to drag anyone out of bed (myself included) and rush off first thing in the morning. 68 days of fun ahead! (well, if I ignore the fact that I'm moving in a month, but we'll not talk about that!)

Anyhoo.. I have had some fun this past week rediscovering the joys of designing a PU kit! I did a colab with Ramona of Memory Clips and am so in love with what we created! I can't wait to share it with you next week, but  for now, it inspired me to make some CU doodles for my shop!

Happy Summer Solstice!!

Good morning and happy Summer!!
I love the summer solstice, when I was a kid we used to have a big party every year, we'd make a pinata have a bonfire and a potluck with all of our family and friends. It's one of my fondest memories and while I don't do it now, my daughter's birthday is on the 25th and so we still have an outdoor party and make a pinata in keeping with tradition. This year it's a mermaid but it's not done yet so I don't have any pics. One more week until the party though so I'd better get a move on!

This week I have a fun new product to share. I've been seeing these clear pockets all over the place lately and they are so fun I had to make a set. Included are 6 pockets with optional stitching and shadows.
