New April Scrap Your Story

Hi all, happy April! I can't believe how fast this year is going! It's finally spring, it was so nice here all last week and we had such fun getting out in the yard again. So glad the long dreary winter is over!!

I have a super new kit to share with you today. Ramona at Memory Clips has come out with another stunner for her blog giveaway this month. The soft colors and fun elements are perfect for spring photos!

Vintage Housewife

Hi all, just a quick post to show you this gorgeous new kit by Memory Clips. It's available in her store right now! Love these vintage colors and all the gorgeous elements!

 This kit is so cute and fun to work with and it gave me the opportunity, not only to vent a bit, but to do a photoless LO which is something I've been wanting to do for a while. So without further ado, here's my True Confession..

Morning everyone, I have a couple of LOs to share with you today. I have been remiss in my blogging for Ramona so you are going to get a few in one go here! 

First up is this LO of my daughter in her first musical theater recital. They did Together at Last from the musical Annie. It was so adorable (even if they did look a bit like ladybugs! LOL)

Then there is this one with  the gorgeous kit So Blessed by Memory Clips and also a Memory Clips Template from the Christmas Past pack

I love the soft colors for these beach photos. I don't usually scrap in pastel, but this was perfect!

And last, but definitely not least is a page made with Memory Clips contribution to ScrapMatters' Mix-A-Kit. You have to check this out as the colors are just gorgeous and there are so many things to choose from! It will be available at ScrapMatters all through the month of February!

My little monkeys helping me to paint the bathroom. As you can see my daughter is the dramatic princessy one, she painted the same spot over and over while she danced and acted the part of a sweet young girl helping her mother paint. My son however is the "good jobber" as he puts it. Can you believe he did that whole wall by himself (he's 4)? He did such a good job, right up to the edges and great coverage. Love my little helpers!

A LO with this month's freebie kit from Memory Clips!

Hi all, Day here and I have a LO to share today that just cracks me up. My son (he's 5) is a natural comedian and has such funny expressions. In this photo, he's "Bein' a dude"
Dudes are like a subgroup in my son's world. They seem to include anyone with a hat on backwards, or at a gym, or with a surfboard, snow board, skateboard.. or apparently anyone in bi-color 3D glasses!
He'll say, "Where's my Dude hat mom?" or "Mom that teacher is a dude!" and he's also been known to stroll nonchalantly into a group of teenaged strangers at the skate park and say, "Hey dude, what's your name? I have a skateboard too... I can go down on my belly. So, can I borrow your skateboard?"
He is so ate ease with others and it's fun  to watch people respond to him. Anyway, he is the coolest dude of them all, and this photo is him, rigged out in all his most "dudelish" gear and rockin' out on his mp3 player.. bein' a Dude!

I used this amazing Scrap Your Story kit that Ramona is giving away this month to make my page. It has tons of great elements, but I especially love the  papers.

 I also used Memory Clips Blended Memories template pack, I love the look of one big blended mood photo and a supporting one with details, it's the best of both worlds!

CT Spot and a Layout!

So now that I'm not making pu kits anymore, I needed a ct to keep me scrapping. Lucky for me I stumbled on a ct call from one of my favorites and an old internet acquaintance, Ramona of Memory Clips designer and owner of Brownie Scraps. She does beautiful kits that are so versatile and fun! Not only that, but she sells from my old digs ScrapMatters where I'll be hanging out anyway, AND she sells templates from her own Brownie Scraps store! She was kind enough to have me on her team and so of course I dove in, downloaded a kit and some templates and stayed up until the wee hours scrapping some pics from last father's day.

What a fun kit! This one's called Oopsie Daisy and is technically themed for bumps and owies and kid oopsies, but since I didn't have any appropriate pics I scrapped out of theme with these cute pics of my dd getting to assist in a demo of old time steam logging.
